Engineering at Haven

As a Backend Engineer at Haven, you will be working alongside our exceptional engineering team from Credit Karma, Plaid, and Evernote, building a product to engage 53 million homeowners across the United States. We work fast to build prototypes and concepts, integrate with new partners and customers, and launch whatever it takes to make an impact.

The role is remote with a highly flexible work schedule. Our current stack leverages AWS, Django, Postgres, GraphQL, and React among other technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve data models over time to address business and/or scalability needs
• Design and implement APIs for internal and external use
• Ensure ongoing compliance with SOC 2 and other information security / regulatory requirements
• Previous experience with Python, Django, AWS, and Terraform
• You are able to work independently in a structured way to make progress despite ambiguity
• You have 6+ years of software development experience
